below: under roof plan with mezzanine study area.  the roof slopes in two directions and our proposed traditional dormer balconies can be seen here.  new skylights will let plenty of light into bathroom, bedroom and living areas - but you need the balcony windows since with snow in winter you can't rely on skylights for light and air needs.
